Coreper II, Coreper I
The Permanent Representatives Committee or "Coreper" (Article 207 of the Treaty establishing the European Community) is responsible for preparing the work of the Council of the European Union. It consists of the Member States' ambassadors to the European Union ("Permanent Representatives") and is chaired by the Member State which holds the Council Presidency.

EC weekly meeting of the College
The European Commissioners meet every Wednesday in Brussels, except when the European Parliament holds its plenary session, in which case they meet on a Tuesday in Strasbourg.

Governing council meeting of the European Central Bank and press conference
The Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) takes its monetary policy decision for the euro area. Shortly after the meeting, the President of the ECB explains the decision in an introductory statement. This is followed by a question-and-answer session with media representatives. A few hours later the transcript of the press conference is published on the ECB website.

Proposal to facilitate cross-border motor vehicle registration
On 4 April the European Commission will present a legislative proposal to facilitate the registration of cars, vans, buses and trucks that were previously registered in another EU country.
